JLU and JKU: Bolt-On Only

For Jeep Wrangler JLU (2018+) and JKU (2007-2018), bolt-on grab handles are the correct choice. These handles mount to the factory grab handle bolt locations without routing near the SRS airbag system. Wrap-around handles that attach to the roll bar are not appropriate for these models because of airbag routing in the B-pillar area. Bartact's bolt-on handles for the JLU and JKU use the factory mounting points and hardware — no drilling, no modification to the airbag system.

Wrap-Around for Older Wranglers and UTVs

For TJ, LJ, and YJ Wranglers — and for UTVs and buggies with exposed roll bars — wrap-around paracord handles attach directly to the roll bar tubing. This is the traditional grab handle design and the correct application for vehicles where airbag routing isn't a concern. The paracord wrap provides cushion and grip, and the handle can be positioned anywhere along the bar to suit the specific vehicle layout.
