Bull Strap Heavy Duty 2" Ratchet Tie Downs 10,000 LB w/ & w/o Axle Strap
Bull Strap 2" heavy duty ratchet tie-downs are rated for 10,000 lb break strength — built for securing full-size trucks, heavy equipment, and large loads on trailers and flatbeds where standard 1" straps aren't enough. The 2" webbing width handles higher working loads without the elastic creep that narrows webbing exhibits under sustained tension.
10,000 lb Break Strength
Bull Strap 2" ratchet tie-downs are rated to a 10,000 lb break strength with a working load limit appropriate for securing the vehicles and equipment these straps are designed for. That rating is based on the webbing, the ratchet hardware, and the end hook construction — not just the webbing alone. Every component in the system is matched to the rated load.
Ratchet Hardware That Works
The ratchet mechanism on Bull Strap 2" tie-downs engages cleanly, holds under load without slipping, and releases without a fight. The release tab is accessible even when the strap is under partial tension — which matters when you're trying to remove straps in the field without fully releasing the load first. The hook forging is rated to the full strap load and formed to engage securely with standard trailer D-rings and tie-down rails.
With or Without Axle Strap
Bull Strap 2" tie-downs are available with and without axle straps. Adding an axle strap allows you to secure a vehicle to a trailer by wrapping around the axle housing rather than hooking directly to the frame, bumper, or suspension — which is the recommended method for most vehicles and prevents damage to those components under load.
USA-Made Heavy Duty Tie-Downs
Bull Strap is made in the USA under Bartact's production standards. When you're loading heavy and driving highway speeds, the tie-downs holding your load matter. Select the configuration above — with or without axle strap — based on your application.
Correct Use and Maintenance
Inspect Bull Strap 2" tie-downs before each use — check the webbing for fraying, the ratchet teeth for wear, and the hooks for deformation. A tie-down that passes visual inspection and was properly stored since last use is ready for another load. Store straps rolled or flat in a dry location out of direct UV exposure; webbing degraded by UV loses rated strength faster than any other failure mode. After use in mud or salt air, rinse the webbing and hardware and dry completely before storage. Made in the USA. Select with or without axle strap above based on your specific loading application.

10,000 lb Ratchet Tie-Downs for Heavy Vehicle Transport
Bull Strap's 10,000 lb break strength ratchet tie-downs are sized for loads that standard ratchet straps — typically rated 1,000–3,000 lb WLL — are not built to handle. Full-size trucks, heavy equipment, and loaded trailers require strap ratings that match the actual load, not a general-purpose strap pressed into service beyond its design parameters.
Ratchet Mechanism — Positive Lock Under Load
The ratchet mechanism provides incremental tensioning with a positive lock — load cannot release the strap once the ratchet is locked. More reliable than cam buckle straps for heavy loads and open-trailer highway transport where vibration can cause cam buckles to work loose over distance.
With or Without Axle Strap
Available in configurations with and without axle straps. The axle strap configuration provides a centered, low attachment point at the axle — standard practice for vehicles with soft suspension that can allow wheel net straps to lose tension in transit. Confirm axle strap compatibility with your specific vehicle before use.
