Seat Covers

Bartact makes the premier seat covers in the automotive industry.  All of our seat covers are vehicle specific and feature the highest grade fabrics available.  Not just that, but we go the extra mile and laminate a high end 1/4 inch foam backing to our fabrics for added fit and comfort.  This alone can double the cost of our materials, and most companies don't add this feature.

Bartact Tactical Seat Covers all have the PALS / MOLLE System and are compatible with a wide range of MOLLE pouches, gear, and accessories.

We also feature front & rear zippered pockets standard on many models.

Bartact currently offer seat covers and accessories for the Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, and Ford Bronco.  We are trying to add additional vehicles in mid-2022.

FAQ:

QUESTION: Is it better to have leather or cloth seats in a Jeep Wrangler?

ANSWER: Leather and Fabric seats both have good & bad properties.  OEM cloth seats are more breathable, but if they get wet or spilled on, it can take a long time to dry out and almost impossible to clean.  Leather looks great, but can be very hot or cold depending on the temperature, and don't breathe well at all.  They can also break down over time if they aren't taken care of.  Bartact seat covers are great to use on both cloth and fabric because they provide the best of both worlds.  There is a waterproof backing on the high grade mil-spec fabric, followed by a foam backing creates a breathable seat that is easy to dry, clean, will not allow dog hair to penetrate, and stays relatively cool in summer, and warm in winter.  It is also one of the toughest, longest-lasting material around.

QUESTION: What is the toughest seat cover material?

ANSWER: Bartact Foam-backed Waterproof Fabric seat covers are the strongest seat covers on the market.  Many other companies also offer 600d or 1000d seat covers made of cordura nylon or polyester, but without the protection underneath, they can slide around, causing wear on your seat underneath, and are uncomfortable.

QUESTION: Are seat covers worth it?

ANSWER: Seat covers can be worth it depending on what route you go.  Bartact seat covers have been known to last several years and still be sold for over half of their cost when a vehicle owner is selling, or trading in their vehicle.  In addition to this, the seat covers have been known to protect the seats underneath, and we have had customers who have been offered over $1,000 extra for their vehicle because the seats underneath the covers still look brand new.  This means that many Bartact seat cover customer actually MAKE MONEY by buying seat covers.  On the other hand, there are very cheap seat covers that don't fit properly, or that can slide around, wearing our your seat underneath, so they can actually do more harm than good.  A lot of them are also not made to last, so they fall apart in under a year.

QUESTION: Are Fabric, leather, or marine grade vinyl seat covers better?

ANSWER: If you get the right material, fabric seat covers are better than any other seat covers.  A high grade waterproof-backed fabric with a foam backing is cooler in summer, warmer in winter, somewhat breathable, and much stronger than marine grade vinyl.  Leather's benefits are the strength, but they require upkeep.
